A5 Screw Conveyor Calculation

Free portable Windows application for preliminary sizing and engineering evaluation of conventional shafted screw conveyors. The guided workflow helps users define bulk-material data and determine screw size, operating RPM and power requirements for the required conveying capacity.

Capacity, power and RPM calculation

Follow a structured five-step engineering workflow to establish bulk-material characteristics, determine conveyor size and speed, calculate power requirements, verify torque ratings and support component selection. The core calculation approach is based on the CEMA screw-conveyor design methodology, with clearly identified supplemental guidance where applicable.

Version v0.91 includes the reviewed Bulk_Material_Table.csv reference database as a separate file beside the executable. Step 1 automatically loads listed bulk materials and their reference properties; users may override database values or create and save custom materials when required.
