Field Services

At A5 Consultoria, field service connects technical planning to the operational reality of your plant. We work directly at your facility to inspect machinery, monitor processes, collect operational data, validate actual operating conditions, and identify improvement opportunities based on technical, productive, and economic criteria.

Guided by KPI's and focused on reducing operational costs, this service is a pillar of our strategic and management consulting. Data collected on-site supports accurate diagnostics, enabling plant improvements, new engineering projects, regulatory compliance, as well as maintenance procedures and component replacement.

Our scope includes in detail:

  • Technical data collection: surveying equipment conditions, process times, operating efficiency, and plant layout adequacy analysis.
  • Reverse engineering surveys: mapping components, dimensions, and interferences, preparing technical documentation, and generating as-built component lists, ensuring full support for new or existing equipment or facilities and for precise, reliable maintenance.
  • Technical inspections: identifying critical points, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities with a focus on safety and efficiency. Also includes supplier inspections to ensure quality for refurbished or new equipment.
  • Assembly, installation, and commissioning monitoring: with our on-site supervision, we validate correct project execution, avoiding rework and ensuring schedule compliance. In preparation for assembly, we develop assembly and testing instructions. During commissioning, we plan and execute no-load and material-loaded tests, adjust operational parameters, and validate the performance of installed equipment and the plant.
  • Operational and maintenance training: based on installation, operation, and maintenance manuals of plant equipment, we develop instructions and checklists for commissioning and inspections, as well as provide operational and maintenance training — both theoretical and practical.
  • Product characterization: includes surveying parameters such as grades, composition, particle size, moisture content, and others. In this stage, we characterize equipment in- and outputs - feed, products, by-products, and waste. For this purpose, we conduct representative sampling of plant flows, collect information to calculate mass balances and equipment efficiencies, and identify bottlenecks.
  • Technical report issuance: for all field services performed, we prepare complete technical reports containing detailed analyses with diagnoses and recommendations.
